FIREFIGHTERS were called onto the B3257, Bere Alston, on Monday (October 20) to a report of a vehicle collision.

Once in attendance, just after 1pm, the fire crews found a vehicle on its side with one casualty still trapped inside. Firefighters worked to release the casualty from the vehicle, which was then made safe.
