TAVISTOCK and District branch of the RNLI held their annual coffee morning in the Parish Church Hall on Friday, November 9, which raised the splendid sum of £608, £100 more than our previous total.

The committee wish to thank Morrison supermarket, Edinburgh Woollen Mill, Alan Dolan, Continental Fruits Tavistock, Todd's Tavistock, Co-operative Brook Street and the Co-operative food store who generously donated raffle prizes, and for the many private donations received.

The committee appreciated all the work carried out by members and friends who helped run the event and the public for their continued support.

The branch's annual dinner will be held at Tavistock Golf Club on Saturday, February 9, 2013, and anyone interested in attending is asked to contact Jane Huxtable on 01822 615027 as soon as possible.
