The Risen Easter Celebration is taking place again this year in Tavistock Town Hall

On Easter Monday, from 7.30pm until 9pm, a special service will be held by Tavistock Area Christians Together (TACT), which represents the united body of churches in Tavistock and the surrounding area.

There will be music and singing with a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary songs.

David Palmer, chairman of TACT, said: ‘We welcome you all to celebrate the good news of Easter with a time of worship and sharing with participants across the generations and the churches of the Tavistock area.

‘It will be a chance to re-discover the real meaning of Easter.’

Admission is free and everyone is assured of a warm welcome.
