THE Lamerton Handbell Ringers would like to express their thanks to all the organisations and individuals for supporting their charity this year.

The team were made extremely welcome at all the functions they attended during the festive season. £140 was passed to Robert and Rosalind Wiggins for the Brain Tumour Research Campaign, based at Charing Cross Hospital in London.

Together with donations from their annual handbell festival held last October a grand total of £300 has now been sent to charity.
