TAVISTOCK-based TV presenter Steve Wilson helped to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first James Bond movie Dr No during a recent appearance on ITV's This Morning programme.
Dressed as 007, the former Live and Kicking presenter demonstrated to co-presenters Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby a range of M's spy gadgets, including hidden cameras inside wristwatches and pens, and dissolving paper for secret messages.
The new James Bond movie Skyfall is due for release later this year, starring Daniel Craig.
Steve is a former Tavistock College student, actor and musician.
He has been working part time as a presenter on ITV's daily live magazine show This Morning for the past seven years, conducting celebrity interviews, travelling the world to report from holiday destinations and presenting live features such as the popular Guess the Gadget.
Steve divides his time between TV work, running his Lifer BMX business in Tavistock and assisting his artist and designer wife Lucy with her expanding illustration business.
He is pleased that the profile of BMX biking has been raised by its inclusion in the Olympics, where Shanaze Reade and Liam Phillips both reached the finals of their respective competitions.
Steve will also be joining other 50 year celebrations this month, at the golden wedding anniversary of his parents Graham and Gill Wilson, who live in Townlake.
