OVERNIGHT work to resurface the A30 between Sourton Cross and Stowford will take place next week. The westbound carriageway will be closed from 8.30pm on Wednesday, July 25 and Thursday, July 26 at 6am. All westbound traffic will be diverted off the trunk road at Sourton Cross, across the A386 on to minor roads through Bridestowe and Lewdown, turning right at Sprytown Cross to rejoin the A30 at Stowford. This diversion will be clearly signposted and timing of the work is reliant on suitable weather conditions. The resurfacing of the road will help to provide a new and quieter road surface.
