CRIME, communication, transport and safety were some of the issues raised during a local consultation week in Buckland, Crapstone and Milton Abbot.

The results from the week, held last November, then formed the basis of a questionnaire which was recently delivered to all households in the area, which brought a response of 46 per cent.

Kate Wright from WestDEN said she was delighted with the response and thanked everyone for completing their questionnaires. Particular thanks were due to Buckland Monachorum Community Partnership and all those who gave up their time to help with the delivery and collection, she added.

The responses are now being analysed and all households will soon receive a report showing the results.

The final stage of the project will be an Action Plan for the community, which can be used to bring about any changes and improvements the local community wants to see.
