The Tavistock seconds team were well beaten by a fine Sidmouth side, in the first round of this cup tie.
The game started at a fast pace and both sides were playing attractive attacking football.
Sidmouth were awarded a penalty on 10mins after the Lambs centre half was adjudged to have handled the ball. Home keeper Richard Rowe made a fine save from the spot kick.
Play continued to open until the 17th minute when a Harry Hardy back pass to his keeper fell well short and Sidmouths Andy Isaac latched on to the ball and fired passed the advancing Rowe.
Bad marking in the home defence, lead to further goals from Daniel Norman and Andy Isaac to make it 3-0 to the visitors at the interval.
Things did not improve for the home side in the second period when Sidmouth added further goals in the 78th and 82nd minutes when Norman and Williams were gifted goals as a result of poor marking in the home defence.
