A MAN acccused of murdering a mother-of-two from East Cornwall was remanded in custody by Plymouth Crown Court on Monday.

In a closed hearing, Judge Francis Gilbert QC declined to grant bail to John O'Rourke, 65, of Milton Abbot.

Mr O'Rourke is accused of killing Amanda Sorrell, 55, who was found dead in her home at Pempwell, near Stoke Climsland, on September 27.
