FIRE crews were called to a West Devon reservoir, after a person was trapped in their car after a collision.

Crews were called to Roadford Dam, Broadwoodwidger, on Saturday morning after a car was in a single vehicle collision.

The crews from Holsworthy and Launceston released the casualty from the vehicle using hydraulic cutting equipment.

The casualty was left in the care of the South West Ambulance service.
