REHEARSALS start on Wednesday (January 11) for an open air Easter performance Tavistock Passion and organisers are inviting people to join the action for the community play.

The production will be on Good Friday morning (April 14), telling the story of the first Easter. Producer Steven Martin of St Eustachius’ Church has drawn together a team from across the community, including David Stranks who prepared the script as director, Andrew Wilson who has composed new choral music for the event and Alison Wright who brings costume expertise from the Tavonians.

Anyone who missed the initial meetings in the autumn but would like to have a go at acting in the crowd or singing in the choir is welcome to come along to the first rehearsal and find out more.
