THE Diamond Jubilee celebrations at Lifton included the rededication of the sports field as the Queen Elizabeth Field, a ceremony attended by West Devon and Torridge MP Geoffrey Cox.

In addition to the unveiling of the commemorative plaque, there was music from Northlew Silver Band, traditional games, a grand jubilee draw, displays and refreshments, including some delicious decorated cupcakes
