Okehampton Army Cadet Force held its annual regimental dinner at the town's White Hart Hotel.
As with tradition, the cadets were required to wear their finest formal clothes and toasted the Queen, the Rifles Regiment and the Army Cadet Force.
During the festivities, a number of cadets were given awards in recognition for their hard work and personal achievements.
A special mention was made to Cadet Grant Garrett who received two awards, including the cadet of the year. His name will be engraved into the new award shield to be displayed at the detachment.
The awards were presented by 2nd Lt Clarke, the detachment commander and Major Martin, the company commander.
Okehampton Army Cadets parade at the cadet huts, Tors Road on Tuesdays from 7pm until 9.30pm.
