GIANT pasty company Ginsters has given a big boost to a West Devon-based children's charity.

The Callington company has published a Cornish recipe book and is giving all of the profits to CHICKS (Country Holidays for Inner City Kids).

Ginsters have been supporting the charity for many years and thanks to Chris Schaffer and the team from Ginsters they have put together a beautiful book of recipes from across the county.

Children from many schools from Cornwall have also contributed to the book.

Jenny Paton, regional fundraiser manager for CHICKS, said: 'We are delighted that Ginsters have arranged this wonderful book to help us raise vital funds.

'Jenny Agutter, one of our patrons has also provided a recipe and will be joining us on Monday April 11 to officially launch the book at our coastal retreat in Cornwall.'

Only invited guests will be able to attend the official launch, however books will be available to purchase from Ginsters by post and from CHICKS.

In addition local shops and tourist attractions to sell them for just £4.99 each, plus post and packing.

There will also be a big promotion on the packs of all Ginsters products so all UK customers will be aware of the new recipe book.
