I READ a report in last week?s copy of your newspaper regarding a party in Bere Ferrers, which noted that not many people turned up. I also note that every week there are reports of similar events that have taken place that I did not know about because they have not been advertised. My advice to all organisers is use PR and advertise your events, both locally, roadside signs, local newspapers even local TV and radio who have dedicated ?spots? for advertising local events.
