Tavistock and District Netball League Delaware 61 Misfits 3 THERE were good games for nominate players Delaware C Misfits GK Mandy Warnett and Nicky Cundy. Misfits struggled with only six players against an experienced Delaware team.
Delaware Youngsters 3 Ginsters 37 THE youngsters played well, continued to learn throughout the game and did not give up. There was excellent defence from GD Sally Grice (nominated player Youngsters) but the more experienced Ginsters won over a new team just starting out. Delaware nominated player GA Debbie Behenna.
l TAVISTOCK and District Netball League are running a free netball training session on Sunday, October 29 between 10am and noon. The event is being held at Tavistock College sports hall and everyone is welcome, especially new players. A few teams are looking to recruit extra players.
