TWO defibrillators donated to the town by Okehampton Lions are now ready for use in two prime locations.
The Lions club has donated defibrillators to the Pavilion in the Park and Okehampton Primary School.
The equipment is attached to a bright blue box on the outside of each building and are ready for use if there is an unfortunate incident of a suspected heart attack.
Rob Saxby of Okehampton Lions said: 'Now the equipment is in place, we just want people to be aware that they are there, ready for use if it is needed.
'We would have liked to put one in the dead centre of town, but these were the two locations that agreed to have them, and they are there if needed.
'The boxes are bright and hard to miss, and there in a case of an emergency.'
