The first weekend of May sees the local cricket season get into full stride. Whitchurch first and second XI will be playing local rivals Lewdown in what will be an interesting opening fixture. Sunday sees the Devon U13s girls play Cornwall U13s girls in a county fixture starting at 1pm.

Next week sees the the youth squads in action. Whitchurch Wayfarers U13s will play Tavistock up at The Ring on Monday. Tuesday sees the U11s away to Cornwood with the U15s also at Cornwood on Wednesday.

The Tamar Evening League starts on Tuesday with the first team away to Lydford and the second team at home to Calstock.
