CHRISTMAS may still seem like a long way off, but local charity HeartSWell South West is already making preparations for the biggest event in its fundraising calendar. The HSW Christmas Fair will be held on Saturday, October 27 at Yelverton War Memorial Hall, and this year it is hoped the event will be the charity?s best yet. Although the fair is being held in October, there will be plenty of ideas for Christmas gifts and stocking fillers. Products on offer will include cards, jewellery, crafts, decorations, crystals, and local produce. And as it will be Hallow?een weekend, there will also be an opportunity to enter a pumpkin into the best carved design competition, sponsored by Endsleigh Garden and Leisure and Sainsbury?s.
