Tavistock Town U15s 2
Horrabridge Rangers U16s 4
HORRABRIDGE dominated much of the first half playing some superb passing football - with Harry Eaton, Jack Northam, Taylor Kingham and Courtney Fry all outstanding in midfield, created a host of chances, but guilty of some wayward shooting.
Rangers for all their possession did not take the lead in the game till the 29th minute when Courtney Fry beat two players on the left before squaring the ball to Josh Birch who smashed the ball home from four yards.
Tavistock came straight back at Horrabridge and equalised just before half time when the outstanding Luke Northmore won his side a penalty which was duly converted.
The second half was again dominated by Horrabridge who continued to pass the ball with real conviction but credit must go to Tavistock who defended their lines superbly.
Rangers regained the lead after 50 minutes when the impressive Taylor Kingham crossed the ball for Josh Birch who timed his run to perfection to beat the keeper to the ball and score from six yards.
Horrabridge upped their tempo and Harry Eaton scored the goal of the game when he drilled the ball home from 25 yards.
Max Burgess then added a fourth when he fired home from 16 yards after a good team build up.
Tavistock deservedly grabbed themselves a second goal when Northmore powerfully headed home from 10 yards.
Players of the match were Northmore for Tavistock and Harry Eaton for Horrbridge.
