RALLY driver Mike White from Plymouth and his Tavistock-based navigator Paul Tresise, are heading off to Wales this weekend for round one of the British Rally Championship.
The Vauxhall Rally of Wales is the first event in the six round series, which takes in the fast flowing forests of Mid Wales.
Mike and Paul will be pushing their trusted Ivybridge Motors Skoda Felicia through 160 miles of tortuous Welsh forestry.
Mike and Paul are no strangers to the International Rally scene, having competed the BRC last year — entering every one of the six rounds. The team work well together having entered over 35 rallies in the last four years — ten of which have been full blown FIA international status.
Paul said: 'We have competed on all these rallies before. Round one, the Vauxhall Rally of Wales we've done four times in as many years. I'm not saying that we have learnt it off by heart, but we certainly know what to expect.
'We will be pushing hard all the way, our only aim is to win the N1 class in this year's BRC.'
