PLANNING permission is being sought for a railway engine repair shed at Morwellham Quay.
The shed will service the mine train and will be a much-welcomed undercover facility when urgent repairs need to be carried out, according to West Devon Borough Council which is making the application. It is part of the Tamar Valley Mining Heritage Project managed by the borough council and Tamar Valley AONB.
