WOODSIDE Animal Welfare Trust charity shop in Yelverton is raffling off 12 home-made meerkat toys in order to raise funds for the charity.

Each meerkat, made by a volunteer of the shop, has been sponsored by a local business and includes an extra prize if won.

Tickets for the raffle are available for 50p each from the charity's Yelverton shop. The raffle will be drawn on Monday, December 22.

The charity expressed thanks to Bidders Butchers, The Cutting Company, The Devon Tors, March Hair, Pet and Pony at Yelverton Business Park, The Rock Dental Practice, Rockinbikes, Upstairsdownstairs, Vierira's Cafe, Who'd Have Thought It at Milton Combe, The Yelverton Co-Operative, The Yelverton Foot Clinic, and Yelverton Store for their generosity in assisting fund-raising.
