THE annual Lewdown produce and flower show was held on Saturday August 27.

Roy Stacey, chairman of the hall committee, welcomed everyone and thanked all who helped to run the event.

Although entries were slightly down, there were some good exhibits.  The judges awarded the best in show to Beryl Trumper for her hand-quilted bed cover, which took many hours of work.

Cookery again had good quality entries, and the water colours and sketches were of excellent quality.
