FORGET about the current Six Nations Tournament between England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, France and Italy there was a far more important one taking place earlier this month —well far more important to those taking part.

The small primary schools in West Devon enjoyed a tag rugby tournament held at Tavistock Rugby Football Club.

The primary schools who took part Gulworthy, Horrabridge, Lady Modiford's Walkhampton, Lamerton, Lifton, Mary Tavy, Meavy, Milton Abbot and Princetown.

The winners were Milton Abbot, 2, Gulworthy, 3, Meavy and 4, Lamerton.
