THE Victorian experience came to Horrabridge Primary School at the end of term when Year 1 and 2 children invited more than 70 friends and family to attend the event.
They could visit the Victorian museum where the children shared what they had been learning about in the topic and where they were shown Victorian artefacts that were kindly donated by Plymouth Museum.
Family and friends could also visit the tearoom for a taste of Victorian delights, including home-made lemonade, cucumber sandwiches and scones.
Thanks were expressed to all who helped, including the Real Ideas Organisation and especially the children for working so hard to make the Victorian era come alive for their guests.
