THE artistic talents of pupils at Buckland Monachorum?s St Andrew?s Primary School have won a nationwide competition. St Andrew?s won the primary school section of the British Council?s competition to design a mural to celebrate ten years of the Comenius programme which creates links between schools across Europe. St Andrew?s art teacher Alison Schofield was at the London College of Fashion last month to receive the award ? a Nikon Coolpix 7900 digital camera. St Andrew?s was one of more than 8,000 schools across the UK that have created links through the Comenius programme ? they have taken part in cultural links with schools in Germany, Romani, Italy and Lithuania.
