YOUNGSTERS at Hatherleigh Community Primary School can now line up in new football kit, thanks to a donation from the parent-run Hatherleigh School Association. The HSA has this term donated £400 for the new football kit, plus £200 for new playground equipment. Fundraising to support the provision of school ICT equipment is ongoing. To raise more money, the group will be selling pumpkins ? perfect for delicious soup or lanterns ? in the school playground during harvest celebrations. A harvest service will also be held in the parish church during the school?s harvest week, which runs from October 16.
