THE Friends of Derriford Hospital Kidney Unit this week issued a big thank you to generous residents in the Tavistock area, following a recent collection in the town.
The group collected £383.88 during their collection last Friday, which is being put towards the purchase of a £9,000 bladder scanner at Derriford Hospital.
Nicola Rowe, secretary of the group, thanked everyone who donated money to the appeal and to the hard workers who organised the collection in the town.
