TALENTED young poets from Tavistock Primary School will soon be in print after their poems were selected for an anthology. The organisation, ?End Child Poverty and Shelter? supported by the Poetry Society and the National Society of Writers, approached a number of schools, including Tavistock, to ask if they would participate in a poetry workshop. The workshop for Year 4 children concentrated on child poverty and poor housing in Britain today and as a result the pupils? work has been selected for the anthology ?Waiting For The Future?.
