Predators attacked from the start and great defending by Kelly prevented a first minute goal. There was a strong wind behind them and Tavistock found keeping the ball in the park a difficult task. Predators went ahead after ten minutes and scored again when Dee made a reflex save only to see a Predators forward get to the rebound first and put the ball in the net. They made it 3-0 just before half-time from a free kick just outside the box. The second half saw Predators go 4-0 up which could have signalled a rout but Tavistock dug deep and came back at them. Court almost headed in from a McCall free-kick and interplay between McCall and Dee resulted in a corner which Dee took. He crossed the ball to Court who blasted the ball into the net. Tavistock continued to take the game to Predators but the lead was increased to 5-1. There were good performances by Tavistock?s Lyle and Johnson.
