WITH the new football season rapidly approaching, Callington Town have arranged a series of pre-season friendlies. They kick off with a tough trip to Bideford of the Western League Premier Division for the first team, on Tuesday, July 18, kicking off at 1945. Four days later, on Saturday, July 22 the firsts join the seconds for a double header at Plymouth club Wessex Rangers with the firsts kicking off at 1pm, and the seconds at 3pm. Then, a week later, on Saturday, July 29 the firsts travel west to meet Combination side St Ives, with a 3pm kick off. Other fixtures will follow shortly.
