DUCHY College at Stoke Climsland will be the venue for BBC Radio Four's Gardeners' Question Time, on October 26.

The popular series has selected Linkinhorne Horticultural Society as the focus of its programme because it is the society's centenary year. As Linkinhorne is a small village, Duchy College will be hosting the evening in the Seale-Hayne Lecture theatre with an audience of keen horticulturists.

Louise Hopes from Linkinhorne Horticulture Society, said: 'We have had a huge response already from the general public, but there are a few left. Tickets cost £2.50 per person for the evening.'

Dave Linnell, principal of Cornwall College, of which Duchy College is a part, said: 'We are all excited about this national radio programme coming to the Duchy College and the students studying horticulture will benefit.'

For more information on the event and how to purchase tickets please call Louise Hopes at Linkinhorne Horticultural Society on 01579 364097.
