TOP chef Nathan Outlaw was the judge at the annual inter-house 'Master Chef' competition, which took place at St Joseph's School on recently.
Pupils from years 8 to 11 competed throughout the day, with Nathan judging, helping and tasting!
Nathan said: 'It was fantastic to see these young kids showing such enthusiasm. Cooking is obviously something they both enjoy and find interesting. This is all credit to the school for encouraging them to learn how to cook for themselves and teaching them such a vital skill.
'I already employ one ex-St Joseph's student who is proving to be a young chef to watch for the future and from the standards I saw in the competition, I wouldn't be surprised if others follow.'
The winning house this year was Lanhydrock; congratulations to all pupils who took part.
