A WEST Devon primary school has recently been highlighted as a national high achiever. St Andrew?s Church of England Primary School, Buckland Monachorum, has been spotlighted by the schools standards agency, Ofsted, for outstanding success in inspections over the past year. It is the second time the school has featured on the list. Ofsted said the school was judged to be outstanding in inspections carried out in 2006 to 2007. John Smith, Devon?s executive councillor for Children and Young People?s Services, said: ?I want to congratulate the headteachers and all their staff for this accolade as well as the pupils who have achieved so well thanks to their teachers? guidance and support.?
