A POP-up vintage tea rooms event was hosted in Sheepwash at the weekend to raise money and awareness for Medical Detection Dogs.

QVC presenter Debbie Flint hosted the event, which saw some trained medical detection dogs and their owners on hand to answer questions and provide information.

A cheque was also presented to the charity during the event from Launceston-based business Charlie Bears collectables.

The company has raised £4,000 through the sale of a limited edition, mohair collectable dog named ‘Bones’.
