PEOPLE with specific skills and trades are needed to help raise funds for the refurbishment of Tavistock College?s swimming pool.
The college?s year nine PTA are organising an ?evening of promises? where money will be raised by auctioning off people?s skills, talents and donated items.
The group have already had offers of gardening, a day?s sailing, fitness lessons and horse riding.
Poppy Morris, deputy head of year, said: ?Perhaps you are an artist and could donate a piece of work, or a builder who could undertake some household repairs. Whatever your skills we need your help!?
The evening of promises will take place on June 19 at 7.30pm in the Ordulph Arms, in Tavistock and entrance is free.
Money raised will go towards making the college swimming pool available for use by students and the community all year round.
