FIREFIGHTERS from Tavistock were called to Two Bridges, Princetown, last Sunday (March 30) after a Dartmoor Pony had become stuck in marshland.

Firefighters from Tavistock and Ashburton and the special rescue team from Camel's Head in Plymouth attended just before 3.55pm.

Crews used animal rescue equipment to release the pony.

Duty of care was left with the RSPCA, which was also in attendance.
