A DARTMOOR pony was killed when a motorcycle collided with it near Princetown in the early hours of Sunday.

A male motorcyclist was attended to by an ambulance crew, following the collision on the B3212 at around 2.10am.

A fire crew from Princetown assisted police in removing debris from the road and made the area safe.
