POLICE in Tavistock this week issued a warning concerning incidents of trespass in the town.

Sgt Dave Anning said teenagers had been climbing onto the roof of Paddons Court recently.

Sgt Anning said: 'These are the grass roofs accessed by climbing the wall on Old Exeter Road and stepping over the gap.

'Residents and police are seeking railings through the developer as the consequences of a fall are potentially fatal.'

Sgt Anning said local residents were being asked to report any sightings of this activity to the police immediately.

'These are the roofs of peoples' homes and walking around on them is very disrespectful as well as trespassing,' said Sgt Anning.
