TAVISTOCK Town Policing Team is apologising to the residents of Greenlands, Tavistock, following the sudden cancellation of an open meeting.

A 'Have Your Say' surgery had been organised for last Sunday, between 2pm and 4pm, of which residents had been notified.

Unfortunately, a serious incident was reported shortly before the event was to be set up, and the officers who were going to run the meeting had to assist with the incident instead.

Officers have planned another event for May, the date of which is yet to be confirmed.
