A COMMUNITY golf day organised by Okehampton Police Station earlier this summer raised £500 for the campaign to equip Okehampton St John Ambulance with a new ambulance.

PC Dave Woodland said the event at Okehampton Golf Club in June had been a great success.

PC Woodland wanted to thank all the players and organisations who had supported the competition.
