POLICE are trying to trace three young people who attempted to steal from a shop in Yelverton at 2.15pm on Tuesday March 4.
Two males and a female made off in a blue Vauxhall Astra saloon, after a member of staff challenged them.
The first male is described as a white teenager, 5ft 7ins, with a thin build and pale complexion. He was wearing a baseball cap.
The other male is described as white, 5ft 9ins tall, late teens to mid-twenties, with a fair complexion, thin face and a small, thin moustache. He had a skinny build and was wearing a baseball cap.
The female was said to be white, 5ft 2ins, with blonde, curly hair, aged 16-17, wearing a threequarter-length grey jacket with fur trim around the collar, cuffs and buttons.
