POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an alleged assault in Gunnislake earlier this month. PC Jim Hunter of Callington Police said the incident occurred between 11pm on Saturday September 3 and 1am on Sunday September 4, in the area around Orchard Street and King Street. ?There was disorder involving a large number of people, males and females, the majority of them in their late teens ? it is alleged a number of assaults took place,? said PC Hunter.
