THE home side had the better of the proceedings in the first half.

But the visiting back four of Ian Gray, Mark Warwick, Simon Wakeham and Steff Kelly dealt well with Sticker?s attackers, and on the three occasions that the home side did have sight of goal Gunnislake keeper Andy Brenton was on top form to prevent any goals.

Gunnislake also had their moments in the opening 45 minutes with Matt Avery and Andy Wakem?s tireless running causing a physically big Sticker back four to have an uncomfortable afternoon.

Much of the play bypassed midfield but central players Dean Martin and Lee Douglas again worked hard and provided good defensive cover.

The second half saw the visitors have the better of the play for the most part.

In this period wide men Jarryd Kelly and Andy Brown got more in to the match.

The visitors had the better of the chances with Wakem getting through on a couple of occasions only to be denied.

With legs tiring manager Andy Southcott used all his subs ? Dave Yorath, Mark Southcott and Andy Alford and these three all contributed to gaining a hard earned point.

This Saturday St Stephen visit Gunnislake for a 2.30 kick-off.
