Spirits were high at a celebratory party held for all the volunteers and stall holders of Bere Ferrers Community Shop and Café last Saturday. More than 100 supporters of the shop, which has been in existence for six and a half years, attended the party, which was organised by the committee to celebrate the project receiving the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service. Every stallholder and volunteer received an individual award badge.
