CONSERVATIVE A maintained their strong start with a 4-1 over Con C.

The Tom Evans potting machine continued with a comfortable win over Craze. The welcome return of Babb to the A team showed he had not lost his touch with a win over Liversidge. There were wins for Neil Folland over Maloney and for Carruthers over Neale. However, Con C's Bassett held out to beat Longden to grab a consulation frame for his team.

The West Devon derby match between the A and B sides turned out to be a tight affair, with West Devon A pipping their rivals West Devon B by 3-2. WD B went 2-1 up with Bath beating Rob Heathman, John Rich losing to Kevin Rich on the last ball as did Smith against Hurford. John Emptage drew West Devon A level with a win over May. The two captains, Colin Heathman and Gilchrist played the deciding frame, which lead to another black ball finish, with Heathman sneaking it for the A team.

Legion A enjoyed a resounding 4-1 win over Con B. There were comfortable wins for Wood - with a break of 23 - Parr and Stewart as well as a black ball win for Wickett over Dolan. Hurle took the point for Con B with a win over Williams.
