WEST Devon electors are reminded to return their canvass forms as soon as possible.

Earlier last month (June) around 25,000 canvass forms were sent to every home in the borough.

The qualifying date for residents to include their names on the electoral register is October 15, 2012. However, the date was omitted from the form.

Residents are reminded to read all of the information included with the canvass form as there are additional facts about permanently opting out of the public version of the electoral register.
