IN Jacobs Pool, Okehampton, there has always been one car parking space dedicated for disabled drivers and this was not often used as there is a disabled space by the Post Office which is close by and used regularly. Now I see that two extra spaces have been marked out for the disabled in Jacobs Pool and two new signposts cemented in. I would like to know how much this cost and what is the point of it? I sometimes think that the officials who make these decisions have no common sense and they certainly know how to waste our council tax money.
