WE have had nearly three weeks of traffic travelling past our door at safe speeds, thanks to the water company workings.

Now we return to traffic speeding past at dangerous speeds, taking little consideration to traffic pulling out at the junction at Cross Lanes, Bridestowe.

Winter brings wet roads, with mud and leaves not ideal to stop on. There may be children walking back home after being dropped from the school bus, a horse and rider on that corner, someone on a bicycle travelling home or a tractor or trailer pulling out.

Please drive more carefully, remember, Christmas is a family time.
